Introduction
Mudfish supports major browsers. Please use your mudfish ID and password to use all mudfish nodes.
The Chrome and Firefox extensions can be used to access websites, work around regional restrictions, and play web-based games.
For a usage example, see Accessing websites using SSL.
Features
Mudfish provides browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Naver Whale. The extensions route browser traffic through the Mudfish network to help improve web performance and latency.
- Routing modes: Use Full Mode for all web traffic, Item Mode for selected websites or services, or Custom Mode for rules written as a PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) script. See Mode settings.
- Node management: Choose from nodes around the world, view recently used nodes, and check response times.
- Connection security: HTTPS connections, an optional Mudfish root CA, and proxy authentication are supported.
- Domain Dump: Collect the domains a website uses to help configure a service or write a custom PAC script. See Domain Dump.
- Convenience: Automatic login, connection status indicators, and multiple interface languages are available.
Mudfish Browser Extensions are a completely separated product from Mudfish Cloud VPN. Please be aware the following things not to be confused.
-
The game / site items of Mudfish doesn't affect to Mudfish Browser Extensions.
-
Mudfish credits are shared.
-
Your data plan is also shared to Mudfish Browser Extensions. So if your data plan is PPT (Pay-Per-Traffics), your mudfish credits are charged based on how much traffics you used via this service.
However if your data plan is Subscription, it doesn't charge mudfish credits but it's with the speed cap and it requires at least one paid item equipped to work properly.
