It is a free VPN service based on P2P (Peer to Peer) provided to Mudfish Networks.
The purpose of this VPN is to bypass country restrictions.
You can download the program from https://dog.mudfish.net/ and currently only the Windows version is officially supported.
The installation process is very simple. After downloading the program from the link above, install it.
When the muddog program is installed, it registers
muddog_srvas a background service. And while this service is running, it will wait for peer-to-peer (P2P) connections from other users.
If you do not want this, please do not install the program.
To connect to a VPN, run the program "Muddog UI" first:
After finding Muddog UI in the startup program, run it. Then you will see the UI for the first time, and you can log in using your Mudfish ID.
After selecting the "Country" you want to connect to on the dashboard screen, click the "Connect" button below to connect to the user's computer located in that country.
Please note that, due to the nature of the P2P (Peer to Peer) connection, it usually takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to complete the connection because the UDP hole punching process is performed.
If the connection is complete, you can check your current public IP at http://myip.mudfish.net link.
You can disconnect it via the "Disconnect" button.
