Introduction​

At mudfish, there are two plans you can choose; Subscription and PPT (Pay-Per-Traffic).

How to change​

If you'd like to change your data plan, it's available with following steps:

  1. Visit the mudfish official website: https://mudfish.net
  2. Go to 'Account → Data Plan' menu.
  3. Pick your data plan.

Please note that after changing the data plan, you can't change it again for 1 month.

Data Plans​

Please be aware

Please note that the traffif usage calculation is based on a view of mudfish nodes.

It means that for examples if you downloaded 5 GiB file using mudfish, Mudfish thinks you used 10 GiB traffics because the mudfish node uses 5 GiB to download the file from the origin and uses 5 GiB to forward the file to the user.

PPT (Pay-Per-Traffic)​

This plan charges mudfish credits based on how much datas (traffics) are used. At this moment, 135 KRW (South Korean Won) per 1 Gbytes is a base price table.

Subscription​

This plan was introduced to prevent some cons of Pay-per-traffic plan at last year; for example, sometimes with misusing Full VPN mode, a lot of mudfish credits could be charged. With subscription plan, you can equip the subscription voucher at fixed price for 1 month; no more extra charges. Full VPN mode is also possible but with speed-cap.

Voucher Types​

There's four types of Subscription Voucher Types as follows. Only differences are price and the limit of speed cap:

  • Subscription 4-1

    • Price: 990 KRW (around $0.84 USD) / one month
    • Speed Cap: 4 Mbps burst / 1 Mbps
    • Monthly maximum traffics: 50 GB

  • Subscription 8-2

    • Price: 1,980 KRW (around $1.68 USD) / one month
    • Speed Cap: 8 Mbps burst / 2 Mbps
    • Monthly maximum traffics: 100 GB

  • Subscription 16-4

    • Price: 3,960 KRW (around $3.37 USD) / one month
    • Speed Cap: 16 Mbps burst / 4 Mbps
    • Monthly maximum traffics: 200 GB

  • Subscription 32-8

    • Price: 7,920 KRW (around 6.74 USD) / one month
    • Speed Cap: 32 Mbps burst / 8 Mbps
    • Monthly maximum traffics: 400 GB

If your monthly traffic usage is over "Monthly maximum traffics" of the voucher, your voucher becomes invalid and no longer you can access the mudfish. To solve this limited speed cap, you can

  • Wait to the next beginning of month. Every 1st day of months, the traffic statistics becomes 0 (zero).

  • Or you can delete the current voucher and buy the new voucher. It'll set the traffic statistics immediately.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)​

PPT (Pay-Per-Traffic)​

My credit becomes minus! What's happening?​

For PPT data plan, if you use more traffic than you have credits for, your mudfish credits may go negative.

So your mudfish credit balance after your next payment will be the remaining amount after subtracting this negative amount.

Subscription​

What 'burst' means in subscription data plan?​

The "burst" means that traffic can be transmitted at that speed for 1 ~ 2 seconds if your network activity started from the idle.

For example, if the speed cap of your data plan is 4 Mbps burst / 1 Mbps, it means that your average speed will be limited to 1 Mbps. However if your traffic started from the idle (no network activity for a while), at the very beginning, its speed could be reached to 4 Mbps. After 1 ~ 2 seconds, it'll be dropped to 1 Mbps.

I have a voucher. Do I need to buy another one for other games?​

No. The subscription voucher is valid for a month. So while it's valid, you don't need to buy it again.

Can I share my voucher with my alias accounts?​

No. The voucher is only valid for the current account. It's not shareable with alias accounts.
