How to check the basic functionality on Android

If you feel Mudfish doesn't work properly on Android, please check the basic functionality of Mudfish as follows:

  • Start the mudfish app and sign in.

  • Check if "VPN Mode" is not in Per-App mode but in Full VPN mode. If it's not, go to Settings menu and change the mode.

  • Click "Connect" button to activate Mudfish.

  • After activation, open the browser app and visit https://myip.mudfish.net site. If it's working properly, you should see a message indicating that it's applied.

If you connect and the internet is dead, what should I do?​

If the internet connection itself is dead, first disconnect the Mudfish app, and then change the connection protocol in "Settings -> Connection Protocol" to another TCP-based option and try again.

Usually, this issue occurs because the network firewall blocks the connection or some other unknown reason that prevents the communication between the Mudfish node and the user's phone.
