WFP Item mode
What is WFP Item mode?
For windows, WFP Item mode is implemented in Mudfish Cloud VPN v5.4.2 or higher.
For Linux, eBPF Item mode is implemented in Mudfish Cloud VPN v6.2.0 or higher.
When this mode is enabled, if possible, items are configured using the Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) function of Windows or eBPF of Linux.
In the case of the existing Mudfish program, traffic is redirected by changing the operating system's routing table, but if this mode is activated, the traffic for each process is processed using the WFP function.
At here, if possible means that the item is only configured to use WFP mode if the item supports it.
If the item does not support WFP mode, the item is configured based on the existing routing table.
How to activate WFP item mode
You can find the option to activate WFP item mode by entering the'Settings → Programs' menu if you're using "Basic" UI.
For "Simple" UI, you can find the button at dashboard.

Is it better to enable?
It depends. If you're suffered from Amazon EC2, Twitch and Mudfish or CDN and Mudfish issues, this mode is helpful because the traffic redirection is applied to the per-process based.
