Has the Xiaomi-based Mudfish router sold through Gmarket been discontinued?​

Yes. It is no longer sold.

Can I still get a Xiaomi-based Mudfish router?​

You can buy one secondhand, or buy a Xiaomi router and replace its firmware yourself. See the Mudfish Game Router guide.

What support is available for existing Mudfish routers?​

Post on Mudfish Forums. We will help where possible.

Firmware​

Can Mudfish be added to my ipTIME router?​

This depends on EFM Networks policy. Post your router model on Mudfish Forums and we can ask EFM Networks about it. You can also contact ipTIME customer service or ask on its customer support Q&A.

Basic operation​

If I configure Mudfish from a PC, does it also apply to my game console?​

Yes, as long as the console is connected to the ipTIME router's LAN.

Does Mudfish apply to every device connected to the router?​

Yes. While Mudfish is running on the ipTIME router, it applies to all devices connected to its LAN.

Can I apply Mudfish to only certain devices or PCs?​

Use Per-Eaddr mode to select devices by MAC address.

Do I have to configure Mudfish using the console's browser?​

No. Use whichever device is convenient, such as a PC or smartphone. The Mudfish UI is usually available at http://192.168.0.1:8282.

Why are speed tests slow in Full VPN mode?​

Full VPN mode routes all packets passing through the router through a Mudfish node. Selecting a node abroad or a node experiencing network congestion can reduce the speed.

Turn off Full VPN mode and use only the items you need to avoid routing all traffic through Mudfish.

Can I use Mudfish with TwinIP (Super DMZ)?​

No. Mudfish does not provide port forwarding for this setup. Using it with TwinIP (Super DMZ) can make the Internet connection stop working.

Mudfish Launcher​

I cannot find the Mudfish settings page on my smartphone.​

The ipTIME administration page does not show the Mudfish settings button when accessed from a smartphone.

ipTIME told us that it removed this button to prevent the app from crashing.
