How can I download old releases?​

It's available at https://mudfish.net/releases/ link.

Installation says “The process XXXXXX was not found”.​

You can ignore this message. During installation, the installer tries to stop any existing Mudfish processes. If none are running, it cannot find them and prints this message.

Uninstallation freezes.​

Avast antivirus has been reported to block uninstall.exe, causing File Explorer or the uninstall window to stop responding. If this happens, temporarily pause the antivirus and retry.

How do I remove Mudfish completely?​

  1. Exit Mudfish using its system-tray icon.
  2. Open “Start → Mudfish Cloud VPN → Uninstall Mudfish”. If that shortcut is missing, run uninstall.exe from the installation directory: C:\Program Files\Mudfish Cloud VPN, or typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Mudfish Cloud VPN on a 64-bit system.
  3. Follow the uninstaller. It removes both the Mudfish program files and the TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 driver installed with Mudfish.

To verify complete removal, check both components:

  • In “Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings”, check that the TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 installed by Mudfish is gone.
  • Check that the Mudfish installation directory no longer contains its program files.

If both are absent, Mudfish has been completely removed.
